You must be at least 18 years old to use Percentmatches.com. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website, registering, or selecting an option indicating agreement, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms, and continued use after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

2. Eligibility and Legal Use

You may use the service only where online dating services and the content offered are lawful. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live or access the service. Anyone under 18 is prohibited from registering, submitting information, or communicating with members.

3. Accounts and Security

You agree to provide accurate information, maintain only accounts you are authorized to use, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by law. We may require identity, age, or account verification where appropriate.

4. Profiles, Matching, and Shared Services

Profile information, account details, and selected content may be used across affiliated Percent Match domains to support shared sign-ins, profiles, searches, communication, advertising, and compatibility services. Match percentages and related results are informational tools based on available answers and preferences. They are not guarantees of attraction, safety, accuracy, identity, behavior, or relationship success.

Skipped questions do not count as matches, and results may change as members update answers or preferences. Members remain responsible for their own decisions and interactions.

5. Member Safety

Use caution when communicating with or meeting another member. Do not send money, gifts, financial information, passwords, identification documents, or other sensitive information to another user. Percent Matches does not conduct every possible background or identity check and cannot guarantee that a profile is accurate or that a member is safe. Report suspicious, threatening, fraudulent, or inappropriate activity through the available reporting or contact tools.

6. User Content and License

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting profile information, photographs, messages intended for display, or other content, you grant Percent Matches and its affiliated services a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the services. This license ends when content is deleted, except where copies must be retained for legal, safety, backup, or legitimate operational purposes.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the service to:

• Post unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, hateful, obscene, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, intentions, relationship status, or affiliations.
• Harass, intimidate, stalk, exploit, solicit, or attempt to contact anyone under 18.
• Upload malware, interfere with security, scrape or harvest member information, reverse engineer protected software, or gain unauthorized access.
• Send spam, unauthorized advertisements, chain messages, scams, or solicitations for money, gifts, gambling, commercial services, or illegal activity.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other proprietary rights.

8. Moderation, Suspension, and Termination

We may review reports and may restrict, hide, remove, or preserve content; suspend or terminate accounts; or limit access when we reasonably believe these Terms, site rules, safety requirements, or laws have been violated. Incomplete, misleading, harmful, or inactive profiles may be removed. We are not obligated to pre-screen every profile, message, or submission.

9. Payments and Subscriptions

If paid features are offered, prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation information will be shown before purchase. Third-party payment providers may process payments under their own terms. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, fees already paid may be non-refundable.

10. Intellectual Property

The website design, software, branding, databases, and content supplied by Percent Matches or its licensors are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service according to these Terms. You may not copy, sell, license, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from protected site materials unless expressly authorized.

11. Third-Party Services

The service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, advertisers, payment processors, or service providers. We do not control or endorse all third-party content and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, legality, security, or practices. Review their terms and privacy policies before using them.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Percent Matches does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, the accuracy of member content, compatibility outcomes, or that every defect will be corrected. Use of the service and interaction with members are at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Percent Matches and its owners, affiliates, officers, contractors, licensors, advertisers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the service, member conduct, content, communications, meetings, or third-party services. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Percent Matches during the preceding twelve months or the minimum amount required by law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Percent Matches and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Legal proceedings shall be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Sarasota County, Florida, and conducted in English.

16. General Provisions

If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without written permission. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement concerning your use of the service.
